Who may submit a product review?

Product reviews in the valitool merchandise shop may only be submitted by logged-in customers for whom WooCommerce can associate a purchase of the respective product. This check uses the customer or email association stored in the shop and the corresponding orders.

What does “Verified owner” mean?

This label indicates that WooCommerce could associate a purchase of the reviewed product. It does not establish independent identity verification or actual use of the product, nor does it guarantee that the review’s content is correct.

Review before publication

Reviews are manually checked before publication, particularly for spam, obviously irrelevant content and unlawful contributions. Positive and negative reviews are treated by the same standards. A negative review is not withheld merely because it is critical.

Public display name

You may choose a public review name or pseudonym. Your first name followed by the initial of your surname is suggested; if no first name exists, “Customer” is suggested. Reviews without a stored public review name display “Customer”. Email addresses and order details are not published as part of the review.
